HAMILTON.
HAMILTON, Ala. -- Prosecutors are in contact with a former classmate of John Mark Karr because she has a yearbook signed at him more than 20 years ago that may reveal the answer to individual of the mysteries of the JonBenet Ramsey ransom note -- what does "SBTC" stand for?
In the yearbook, Karr signed the classmate's page and finised his missive with the line, "Though difficult in the future, maybe I shall be the conqueror and live in multiple peace."
The words "shall be the conqueror" do not appear anywhere as an acronym, unless they are written in upper-case characters.
The 2oe-page ransom note was left with the Ramseys the day JonBenet was killed. The note finaleed "Victory! S.B.T.C."
from one side an e-mail and phone conversations, Boulder Colo district attorney's investigators have been in touch with the classmate for the last married pair of days on the matter.
